Kara Wisely is an up and coming Real Estate Agent in the Lake County area. She was the “2017 Rookie of the Year” for the Realtors’ Association of Lake and Sumter Counties (RALSC). Kara brings a no-nonsense approach to the home buying and selling process while still being refreshingly friendly and honest. She believes in not hesitating and doing whatever is needed in the moment. This ‘get it done approach’ is the result of her years of experience in the culinary industry in the Philadelphia area. The hustle and adaptation required in the Restaurant Industry more than amply prepared her for getting the job done in each Real Estate transaction.

Born and raised in the Main Line area of Philadelphia, Kara’s extensive education began at St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia before going on to obtain a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pastry Arts at Walnut Hill College. After getting her feet wet in the restaurant industry, she went back to school to finish out her education with a degree in Hospitality Management.

Kara met and married her husband, a Lake County Native, while they were both working in restaurants near her hometown. They have a combined 40+ years of restaurant management experience. She moved down here to be with him 2 years ago and fell in love with life in Florida. She is an active member of the Eustis Chamber of Commerce and loves to work out.

She was the 2018 Young Professionals Network Chair for RALSC and serves on the Grievance Committee for the Board of Realtors. Kara understands that buying and selling is one of the biggest decisions in her clients’ lives. She knows what an amazing privilege it is to be able to serve her clients with this step in their lives.
